Fans of Universal CityWalk in Orlando won’t have to wait any longer to return to the complex.

After closing nearly two months ago due to the coronavirus pandemic, the venue reopens Thursday with limited operations and new guidelines, reported “Today.”

While not all shops and restaurants will be back up and running, guests will be permitted on the grounds starting today from the hours of 4pm to 10pm.

CityWalk has also implemented extra precautions and safety measures to maintain the health of employees and guests.

Everyone will have to wear a face covering and have their temperature checked upon arrival. Anyone who has a temperature greater than 100.4 degrees will not be permitted to enter.

In addition, guests must maintain six-feet distance from other parties, adhere to floor markings and wash their hands frequently.

The complex has instituted intense cleaning and disinfecting procedures and implemented a completely cashless payment system.

Eateries that are open will have limited menus and seating, while nightclubs, the Cinemark movie theater and the Blue Man Group will remain closed. But the Hollywood Drive-In Golf will be open.

"We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed," read a notice on its website. "Additional venues may be added over time, and hours of operation are subject to change."

CityWalk will also offer complimentary self-parking, but valet parking is not currently available.

All other Universal Orlando theme parks and hotels will remain closed until at least May 31st.

Meanwhile, Disney Springs, the retail, restaurant and entertainment complex adjacent to the Magic Kingdom, will begin a phased reopening on May 20th.

Guests looking to stay at nearby Walt Disney World hotels can start making reservations for later this summer.

Disney World's website is now allowing booking for its various resorts and hotels in Orlando for travel beginning on July 1st.
