Back in 2014, No Doubt’s Tom Dumont, Tony Kanal, and Adrian Young joined forces with AFI’s Davey Havok to create the supergroup Dreamcar, although they kept it a secret until 2015.

Flash forward to present day, and we’ve got Dreamcar’s debut single, “Kill for Candy.” The song will be featured on Dreamcar’s self-titled, 12-song album, which is due out May 12.

“Kill for Candy” has an eighties feel for sure, and while that’s not as surprising from the No Doubt side, it’s definitely a new sound for AFI. Let us know what you think of it on social.

In the meantime, you can find out a little bit more about Dreamcar below, like which band had the supergroup idea first: AFI or No Doubt?
