MIGSFEST! This Saturday Night

October 13, 2017

Tomorrow is going to be an awesome night!  Sure my birthday was October 3rd…but tomorrow we officially celebrate it with MigsFest II!  Last year’s party was so awesome that we decided to do it again.  We will have some of my favorite bands playing… Windowpane, Wyatt Olney & The Wreckage, Van Eps, The Last Internationale, and my new band… Bruiser Brody!

You can get tickets HERE!

To get ya pumped I figured I would share with you a song from each band that I love...

Let's start with my boys in Windowpane...I am so stoked for these guys as they just remastered their new record and it sounds even more incredible than it originally did, which is saying a lot as I LOVE their self-titled album.  They will have the new version available for purchase tomorrow!  Check out "Underfoot"...

It's going to be awesome to have my brothers in Van Eps playing as well.  They just put out a great record...seriously it's so good...and if you have never seen these guys live, I promise you will leave a fan if you come out tomorrow!  I love this video for one of their older songs, "Nineteen"...check it out!

I am so excited for my buds in Wyatt Olney & The Wreckage to play.  Not only is Saturday night a belated birthday party for me...it's also a party to celebrate the release of their new CD "Welcome To Seattle"!  I have heard the record, and it's phenominal...great songs that are heavy and catchy!  Plus, rumor has it that I will be jumping on stage with them to play drums on one song (which should be entertaining as I am not driving tomorrow thanks to Lyon Pride Party Bus, so I won't be sober...at all!).  This is my favorite song off of their new record, "Hell & Back"!

If you are a regular listener of the MigsCast, you know how much I love The Last Internationale.  They are a band from NYC that I fell in love with when I saw them on David Letterman a while back.  Since them I have obsessed over them, their last record, "We Will Reign" is one of my absolute favorite records of all time.  So the fact that they are playing my party means the world to me, as their music has helped me keep my head on straight many times.  Their live show is always memorable and amazing, so the fact that I will be sharing the stage with them is surreal.  I love this video for their song "Killing Fields"...

Finally...I would be lying if I didn't say that I'm most excited that I will be playing on stage with my band tomorrow night!  What started as a MigsCast podcast bit of putting together a band with my bud Glenn from Windowpane...turned quickly into an actual band.  I couldn't be more proud of what we have accomplished...as we recorded our EP at Robert Lang Studios (Foo Fighters and Nirvana have recorded there), had it mixed by Brett Eliason (he mixes everything for Pearl Jam), and we will have the EP available tomorrow night!  Check out the first song off of our EP... "Don't Go There On Your Own"!

For those that aren't able to make the show tomorrow...we will be streaming the whole show live on YouTube...it all starts at 7pm, so you can watch it here:
