2018 Warped Tour: The Last One

ROCK BLOG! Who is playing this year's Warped Tour? Here you go!

March 1, 2018

It's the day I look forward to every year, Warped Tour releases it's line up for the coming summer's tour. First off, I have to put this out there: WARPED TOUR IS NOT COMING TO SEATTLE. In fact, they aren't even coming close this year.

"But Danny . . . WHY THE EFF DO WE CARE THEN?!"

Well, I will tell you why I care, it is the last cross country trek for the tour. Which means, that's it. No more Warped Tour after 2018, and I write this blog, because if you are like me, you plan on traveling down to California (or somewhere else) to check it out and give it one last hurrah!

Here are some shots from last year!

Does it mean that there won't be some version of a Warped thing in the future? Chances are, there will be some incarnation of the festival in years to come. Warped Founder Kevin Lyman has even hinted at a big 25th anniversary BASH next summer. But it will be a stationary thing. Warped, as we know it, is done. Which if you are like me, and grew up going to concerts, punk rock summer camp was always on your list of things to watch for.

So without further delay, here is the line up for the final tour:

3OH!3, Knuckle Puck, Mayday Parade, Reel Big Fish, State Champs, This Wild Life, Waterparks, Asking Alexandria, Beartooth, Bowing for Soup, Frank Turner, The Interrupters, Sum 41, Issues, Movements, Real Friends, Simple Plan, The Main, Tonight Alive, We The Kings, All Time Low, Falling In Reverse, Four Year Strong, Less Than Jake, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Chelsea Grin, Deez Nuts, Ice Nine Kills, Kublai Khan, My Children My Bride, SharpTooth, The Ammit Affliction, Twiztid, Wage War, Silverstein, Crown the Empire, Dayseeker, Everytime I Die, Hail The Sun, Harm's Way, In Hearts Wake, Motionless In White, Unearth, August Burns Red, Knocked Loose, Underoath, As It Is, Assuming We Survive, Broadside, Capstar, Chase Atlantic, Dead Girls Accident, Doll Skin, Don Broco, Grayscale, Makeout, Palayeroyale, With Confidence ***

*** Bands vary by date.

That's it. Pop-punk, punk, ska, some hardcore/metal in there. Looks like a good round lineup to say goodbye. Best part? Kevin Lyman tweeted earlier that there would be surprise guests at different stops throughout the summer.

So what do you think? Worth making a trip out of town to give the tour one last fist in the air? Or are you planning on saving up for other festivals this summer? Either way, I know I will see you all in the pit at some point!
