Wanna feel old? Well this blog is for you!

Green Day's "Dookie" came out 25 years ago on this day! 25 YEARS.

Let that sit in. The album that brought punk rock to the masses, the one you used to listen to and hate your parents, while skating and thinking you were the most rebellious kid on the block.

Billie Joe has said that he just wanted to write good songs he could still play in five years. Well add 20 to that, and one has to wonder if they every get tired of playing any of the record?

Honestly, my favorite song from the album isn't even one of their hits:

How are you gonna celbrate? Well good news, we may be able to celebrate with the band themselves, if you remember, the band has been cryptic late last year posting pictures to Instagram, of them playing past albums in full in practice!

What could this mean? A "Dookie" 25th anniversary tour? They also played other albums in full. So maybe just a throwback tour in general? Guess we shall have to wait and see!

Until then! Rock the album all day long! Happy 25th "Dookie"! An album that changed the face of music and many teenagers lives!

See you in the pit!
