Okay, so don't get TOO excited by the headline. These bands aren't touring together yet.

First off let me start by reminding you that Korn is already headlining Pain in the Grass on Saturday, June 24th with Stone Sour. (Get your tickets and special tickets to hang with us at BJ & MIGS here.)

And . . . Deftones are coming to White River this summer too with Rise Against on July 3rd.

So having them tour together isn't the biggest deal since we can see them both, within a month of each other. However, the headlines in the ROCK world were going crazy last week because Deftones frontman Chino Moreno said that they would often avoid tours with Korn. (via

But now Moreno has said they "would definitly do shows" with Korn. (via

In the original interview, he basically said they had to be very conscious of who they toured with and had to turn Korn down a lot of times. Which, having been in a band, I can imagine must have been super hard, as you want to get your music out there, but you don't necessarily want to be lumped under a rug of one genre of music.

But now in a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, he took the chance to clear the air saying he now would like to tour with Korn, basically saying they were being pushed toward the genre of both Korn and Limp Bizkit, and in order for them not to, they had to make the conscious decision to tour on their own and forge their own path. But of course his comments were blown out of proportion and wouldn't turn down the opportunity to tour with either band now.

So does that mean we might get a Deftones, Korn, and Limp Bizkit tour in the future? Hello Family Values 2018! Haha.

And now, some tracks for you to listen to.

See you in the pit this summer!
