Fan Suing Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age

March 27, 2017

In August 2016, TMZ reported on a story in which Queens of the Stone Age frontman, Josh Homme, verbally berated an autograph-seeking fan after a show with Iggy Pop, believing the fan collects autographs and sells them online for profit.

Jason Lackrone, a teacher from Michigan and the fan at the center of this conflict, is suing Homme for $25,000 on each count of "assault, defamation, false light, appropriation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress." A court document says that Lackrone is a collector of autographs from celebrities, rather than an eBay user looking to make a profit off of Homme.
