If you were a KISS fan and attending local Seattle shows in the mid 90s you'd know we were lucky in 1994 (RKCNDY, Seattle) and 1995 (Off Ramp, Seattle w/ Peter Criss) when Ace Frehley performed here back-to-back on his solo tours but since then over 2 decades have passed without Ace solo touring in Seattle. True he did with the KISS reunion tours in 1996 (Tacoma), 1997 (Seattle), 2000 (Gorge) but not as a solo artist. (film print samples below)
Ace is touring in support of his latest release "Origins, Vol. 1" that's a covers album featuring guest appearances from Slash, Lita Ford, John 5, Mike McCready, and former Kiss bandmate Paul Stanley, check out Ace doing the classic Thin Lizzy tune "Emerald" from this release.

This being the last show of the U.S. tour 2.11.17 before they head to Europe, Ace opened the night at the Neptune Theater with the KISS classic "Parasite" that got the sold-out crowd in a frenzy as he and his band (whom featured long-time solo bandmate & guitarist Ritchie Scarlet)
blasted through a 75min set that included many KISS, Ace solo songs and covers.

Parasite (KISS)
Rip It Out (KISS)
Emerald(Thin Lizzy cover)
Love Gun (KISS)
Rocket Ride (KISS)
Bring It On Home(Willie Dixon cover)
Rock Soldiers
Strange Ways (KISS)
New York Groove(Hello cover)
2 Young 2 Die
Shock Me (KISS)
Ace Guitar Solo
Cold Gin w/Mike McCready (KISS)
Detroit Rock City (KISS)
Deuce (KISS)

When Pearl Jam's Mike McCready came onstage during "Cold Gin" the crowd went crazy. Funny cause there was time's Mike even looked star struck playing onstage with his KISS idol in his hometown of Seattle.
10 years sober, Ace was on his game. If KISS wanna (and the rumors have been flying for 2017 ) do one last reunion tour now is the time. I always felt Ace was the favorite with fans as he was mine. Of the 4 KISS solo albums Ace out-sold the other members records to prove one point.

Opening the show was the MTV video days & hair rocking pop rock sounds of Chicago's Enuff Z'Nuff. Chip Z'Nuff fronts the band today and still kicking the great MTV hits "Fly High Michelle" and "New Thing". Keep up to date with Enuff Z'Nuff here:
