Joey Deez Blog "Crashing Cars"

May 16, 2017

Tuesday has started out rainy and it looks like it’s planning on staying that way. With the rain comes our most hated time waster, traffic. Normally when commuting to work at 5am, there’s no traffic. But every once and a while, mostly when we have terrible weather, there will be an accident on the road that will cause me to be late to work; really late. I thought today was going to be one of those days. While commuting work on the highway, a car skidded into my lane causing me to slam on my breaks. There wasn’t a whole lot of distance between our cars and in a flash I saw his car glide right by the front of mine into the lane next to me, narrowly missing everyone. I nearly had a heart attack. If you want to know what was going through my head, just click below.

Check out the video here of cars crashing at speeds over 120 miles per hour:

Man these cars get demolished, glad I wasn’t speeding this morning. Just goes to show you that wearing your seat belt can help but if you’re going too fast, there’s not much you can do. I remember driving on I-5 and seeing the wreckage of a nice convertible on the side of the road. Apparently it went under a semi-truck and got caught in the back wheels. The driver luckily survived but man that car looked like it had been transformed into a toaster. The image is a great reminder to always drive with caution while on the road and to be mindful of other drivers, especially with all our rain. Stay safe Rock-A-Holics!

What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen while on the road?
