20 Pro Wrestling Predictions for 2018

2018 is gonna be a huge year for wrestling. We are already 11 days in and I've already seen some incredible matches - many of which were on New Japan's Wrestle Kingdom on January 4th. 

Here are my 20 predictions for things that will happen in 2018. Some of them will make me smile, some will bum me out. I'm interested to see how many of these come true in the next 365 days. 

- The Young Bucks will make an appearance on a popular children’s cartoon. 

- WWE will bring in more wrestlers from Japan to join the “Balor Club.” 

- The WWE Network will raise its monthly price. 

- Ronda Rousey will wrestle a match in WWE. 

- Braun Strowman will win the Universal Championship. 

- Kane will win his race for Mayor of Knox County and retire from wrestling. 

- Bayley will turn “heel.”

- Daniel Makabe will win the 3-2-1 Battle! Championship. 

- WWE will cancel 205 Live and integrate the talent into NXT, Smackdown and Raw. 

- Kassius Ohno will make his main roster debut on either Smackdown or Raw. 

- Aleister Black will make his main roster debut and win a major singles title. 

- Shane Strickland will wrestle a match in NXT. 

- Impact will somehow land a TV deal on Spike TV. 

- Shinsuke Nakamura will win the Royal Rumble and go on to face AJ Styles at Wrestlemania. 

- Kazuchika Okada will hold the IWGP (New Japan) Heavyweight Championship belt for the entire year. 

- The Undertaker will wrestle another match in WWE. 

- Chris Jericho will wrestle in New Japan at least one more time, but will rejoin WWE toward the end of the year. 

- The Authors Of Pain will be drafted to Raw and win the tag team titles. 

- Asuka will remain undefeated for the rest of the year and will win the Raw Women’s Championship. 

- NXT will move to the USA Network.
