DEFY 9: Badass Underground Wrestling Returns To Washington Hall

Jabroni Journal

November 9, 2017

The Northwest underground wrestling scene is knee deep in a revolution. Between 3-2-1 Battle!, Lucha Libre Volcanica, Project 42 and many more, it seems like almost every week there's a can't miss match or two. This Friday night (November 10th), heavy hitting local wrestling company DEFY is running their last show of their first year with "DEFY 9: Yo! DEFY Graps". If you haven't been to a DEFY show this past year, this would be a great event to make your first.

At the top of the card, Tacoma-raised DEFY Champion Shane "Swerve" Strickland is putting his belt on the line against a monster of a man who is hot off his debut victory against Big Jack, the up and coming big man himself Brody King.

I'm certainly looking forward to seeing former UFC fighter Tom Lawlor go head to head against one of the hottest talents on the indie scene today, "All Ego" Ethan Page. Fresh off his debut at Impact Wrestling's Bound For Glory event, Sami Callahan will also be making his DEFY debut.

This killer card is rounded out with a stacked undercard featuring incredible talent including Malia Hosaka, Havok, Amerikan Gunz, Klark Connors and Rebel Kel, Schaff, Jorel and XStatic.

Get stoked for another night of brutal and breathtaking wrestling this Friday night.
