DEFY Wrestling's Next Event Heats Up As MJF Calls Out Swerve

Seattle underground pro wrestling company DEFY returns to the historic Washington Hall next Friday (July 13th) for DEFY Loud and indie wrestling's most spoiled rich kid is determined to make a sudden impact in the Northwest. Earlier today, MJF - short for Maxwell Jacob Friedman...a name that just makes you want to punch him in the face - uploaded a short video challenging former DEFY Champion, the pride of Tacoma Shane "Swerve" Strickland to a match at next week's event. The winner of the match between MJF and Swerve would be considered the #1 contender for the DEFY Championship, currently held by the "Belt Collector" Austin Aries.

This puts an interesting spin on the following DEFY event, which takes place just one week later on July 20th in Portland. The main event of this card on the 20th as of today is the rematch between current DEFY Champion and Shane Strickland. But what if Strickland loses to MJF on the 13th? Will we see MJF making a fast rise to the top of the card in DEFY? Or will Strickland's desire to regain that title be too much for him?

You're just gonna have to pick up a ticket for DEFY : LOUD here and find out for yourself!

And if the anticipation for this match isn't enough for you, just take a quick look at some of the other names on this stacked lineup: Schaff, Colt Cabana, Taya, John Morrison, Randy Myers, the Luchasaurus and more!
