Elimination Chamber Predictions

February 23, 2018

The next stop on WWE's "Road To Wrestlemania" is Las Vegas this Sunday night (February 25th) for one of the most unique and potentially violent events - Elimination Chamber.

If you would have asked me about Elimination Chamber even just a couple weeks back, I would have told you I wasn't that excited for it. But that all changed on Monday night when Raw presented one of the best matches in the entire 25 year history of the show. The 2+ hour gauntlet match included all the wrestlers involved in the men's Chamber match and was a truly breakout moment for Seth Rollins.

Before I get to men's Chamber match, though, let's take a look at the first ever Women's Elimnation Chamber match. Unlike the men's match, the current Raw Women's Champion, Alex Bliss, is entering the match and has to fight off 5 other competitors who will be gunning for her. Ms. Bliss will take on Bayley, Mandy Rose, Mickie James, Sasha Banks and Sonya Deville.

I expect this match to last quite a while and I'm really excited to see the stuff that happens between Bayley and Sasha. We all know the incredible chemistry they have in the ring together and they have been teasing a major feud between the two for a while now. Will the best friends finally explode? Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville will most likely team up and do some damage, but I don't expect either of them to win. Mickie James has been recently supporting Alexa Bliss, but I can see the Champ taking out Mickie as soon as the chance arrives. In the end I see the tenacious, scrappy, win-at-any-cost attitude of Alexa Bliss to get her out of the Chamber with that belt.....AND STILLLLLLLLLLLL.....

Winner: Alexa Bliss (Still Raw Women's Champion)

There's a whole lot of star power in the men's Chamber. It's going to be interesting to see how they event structure this match because there are 7 wrestlers involved and only four pods. I'm guessing they will start the match with three wrestlers facing off instead of two and then release the others from their pods throughout the match. The competitors in this match are John Cena, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Elias, Finn Balor, Braun Strowman and The Miz. Aside from Elias, I could see any of these guys winning the chamber match. The safe bet would be Roman Reigns, as there has been rumors that Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar is the match they have in mind for Wrestlemania in April. But I'm gonna go with the Monster. I'm thinking' they pull a swerve on Sunday and have Braun Strowman decimate the others and go on to Wrestlemania to face off against the Beast Incarnate himself.

The Beast vs. The Monster for the Universal Title? Sounds like a damn fine main event to me!

Winner: Braun Strowman
