Friday Night Fights: The Lucha Brothers Return To DEFY for "Into The Fire"

Jabroni Journal

May 9, 2019

As the weather heats up and we prepare for another awesome Northwest summer, DEFY is gearing up for a badass action-packed wrestling show this Friday night (May 10th) at Washington Hall in Seattle.

Speaking of heat, the event is appropriately named “Into the Fire,” and will be headlined what is surely going to be a hard hitting, brutal war between two fierce tag teams. Separately, Penta El 0 Em (aka Pentagon) and Rey Fenix are two of the hottest independents wrestlers in the world and have been featured on Impact, Lucha Underground and AEW. Together, they form the Lucha Brothers and these two luchador warriors are returning to DEFY to face off against a first-time tag team made up of the Northwest’s beast himself Schaff and UK standout “Hard as F***” Chris Ridgeway. To steal a phrase from “Good Ole” Jim Ross, this one’s gonna be a SLOBBERKNOCKER.

The Pride of Tacoma “The Amerikan Gunz” Ethan HD and Mike Santiago finally have their shot at regaining the DEFY Worldwide Tag Team Championships as they face off against Southern California’s own Warbeast. If that’s not enough to get you excited for this one, there will actually be TWO sets of tag team belts on the line, as Warbeast will also be putting their PCW Ultra Tag Team Championships up for grabs.

“The Weirdo Hero” Randy Myers will be going head to head with a man that is no stranger to the Northwest and DEFY, the current MLW Heavyweight Champion “Filthy” Tom Lawlor. I’m intrigued to see how Randy’s unorthodox and unique style will fare against a combat sports veteran / former UFC fighter like Tom Lawlor.

Like always, DEFY will be shining a light on some of the best up and coming talent from right here in the Pacific Northwest with matches like Guillermo Rosas vs. “Golden Boy” Travis Williams and The Uprising vs. Leon Negro and Sonico.

If you want to join me and a few hundred diehard wrestling fans tomorrow night, make sure you get your tickets to DEFY “Into the Fire” here
