Three Awesome Local Rock Shows To Check Out This Weekend

May 11, 2018

It’s that time again Rockaholics! We’ve made it through the work week and now it’s time to rock the f*** out!

There are a ton of badass events going on all over the Northwest this weekend, but I wanted to highlight three big shows with some of the local scenes finest bands for you to consider.

On Friday night in Tacoma, one of the most eclectic bands I know of – Big Wheel Stunt Show – will be headlining Jazzbones alongside their good friends Pete RG and his band, which just so happens to feature Dave Krusen of Pearl Jam fame and Adam Kury of Candlebox. They will be joined by badass Tacoma band Dedset.

Check out Big Wheel Stunt Show below.

There’s no need to leave Tacoma on Saturday, because Jazzbones is hosting three incredible local bands! Bruiser Brody will be bringing their driving melodic rock and headlining what will surely be an amazing show with Loud and Local favorites Wyatt Olney And The Wreckage and the almighty Antihero

If you’re up in Seattle on Saturday night, you can rock out for a good cause! The annual event ROCK MS is being held at one of the most iconic Northwest venues, The Crocodile, and will feature performances by the world’s only female Alice In Chains Tribute band, Allison Chains, an incredible Pearl Jam tribute band, Washed in Black,  and a well-oiled machine of a Stone Temple Pilots tribute band called Wicked Garden. The doors open at 7 pm and the first band starts at 8. Proceeds for the show benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
