Three Awesome Local Rock Shows To Check Out This Weekend

It’s almost time for the weekend and it’s time to rock! The Northwest is well known for it’s rich local music scene and this weekend there are plenty of badass events to check out. 

Friday June 8th
Darrell’s Tavern 
Brad Yaeger and the Night Terrors, The Tom Price Desert Classic, Panoramics

Start the weekend off right with a rad rock n roll show at one of the coolest bars in the North End (Shoreline to be exact). Brad Yaeger and the Night Terrors bring a bluesy, dirty swagger to their hard rock sound and The Tom Price Desert Classic is a band comprised of veterans from NW bands including former members of U-Men, Gas Huffer, The Monkeywrench, The Earaches and more.

Saturday June 9th 
Tractor Tavern
“Make America Grunge Again”
Washed in Black (Tribute to Pearl Jam), Stargazer (Mother Love Bone Tribute), Wicked Garden (Stone Temple Pilots experience), Nevermind (a tribute to Nirvana)

You can rock out for a great cause on Saturday night while singing along to some of your favorite 90’s jams! “Make America Grunge Again” features some of the Northwest’s top tribute bands and a portion of the proceeds benefit Strong Against Cancer.

Sunday June 10th 
El Corazon
Hammerfall , Flotsam and Jetsam, Convergence, Skelator

If metal is more your speed, Metal Shop is presenting a rad night of epic proportions on Sunday night. Old school classic metal band Flotsam and Jetsam are touring the U.S. with Swedish power metal band Hammerfall. Get there early to check out some of the metal that the NW has to offer – raging power metal band Skelator and prog metallers Convergence.
