No this isn't a bad dream, your shamrock shake wasn't spiked, your chicken nugget sauce wasn't sprinkled with PCP, your burger wasn't melted with a square sheet of acid instead of cheese, nor was your cherry pie injected with LSD, this is 'Drive Thru Metal' with Mac Sabbath! A satire combo of Black Sabbath songs played by classic 1970s McDonald's characters and lyrics about McD's menu items and the corporate food industry with an overall theme that fast food is killing us all!

So why don't ya take a few minutes and check out my video for  "More Ribs" (aka War Pigs) and "Organic Funeral" (aka Electric Funeral) and get a little dose of why Mac Sabbath is one of the most entertainingly funny rock bands on the planet right now.

The band maintains a total anonymity behind their characters on stage. Everything, including interviews, goes through manager Mike Odd who is also the lead singer of the Los Angeles hard rock band Rosemary's Billygoat. Singer Ronald Osborne is the highlight of the show, he has all of Ozzy's stage mannerisms and moves down including he's vocal quirks. Besides the near perfect music covers of Black Sabbath tunes it's the lyrics that will have ya rolling with laughter. Here's a good quick sample:

Black Sabbath's "Iron's Man"

I am Iron Man!

Has he lost his mind?
Can he see or is he blind?
Can he walk at all
Or if he moves will he fall?

Mac Sabbath "Frying Pan"

I have frying pan

Cows we’re going to grind
Hope your stomach is well lined
Do I have the gall?
Chopping onions makes me bawl

Look at some of these twisted classic titles/songs:  Sweet Beef" ("Sweet Leaf"), "Never Say Diet" ("Never Say Die"), "Zipping Up the Uniform" ("Symptom of the Universe"), "Cherry's Are Fruits" ("Fairies Wear Boots") "Pair-a-Buns" ("Paranoid") and "Frying Pan" ("Iron Man"). Seattle's setlist comprised of these: (Intro - Send in the Clowns) / More Ribs / Chicken for the Slaves / Brand of Doom / N.I.B.B.L.E. / Lord of the Swirl / Zipper Up the Uniform / Organic Funeral / Frying Pan / Cherries are Fruits / Encore: Pair-a-Buns / (Outro - Rock n Roll McDonald's).
The show includes laser beaming eyed Ronald McDonald playland heads, evil Ronald clowns, hamburger drums, malt shake mic stand, inflatable crowd surfing hamburgers, water filled ketchup and mustard containers and stage front grill. This show is one of the best all-around value-meal concerts you'll ever see especially if you're an old Black Sabbath fan!
