After including the 4,000 copies sold in the last tracking week, Metallica’s Hardwired… To Self-Destruct has now officially sold over 1 million copies in the U.S., Billboard reports.

Yeah, the guys sold a few thousand copies in the latest tracking week—an impressive feat, considering the album came out last November.

According to Billboard, the band’s sold 58 million albums in the U.S. since sales were first tracked using the current system back in ’91.

The album did already go platinum by the RIAA’s standards, but that takes in more factors, like streaming. This new milestone is a bit more traditional, based on physical and digital sales alone.

Rock on, Metallica!
