11-9-16 Mike Hawk's Insider: Monday Night Football

November 9, 2016

Hola Bitches!

I had the great privilege of finding my way inside Century Link field to witness the Seahawks take on the Bills for Monday Night Football! And I couldn’t have asked for a better game to go to!

This was an offensive battle since the very beginning. Both teams were plowing through the other’s defense and it seemed like the first team to be able to stop a drive would pull ahead to win the game. And that just so happened to be our boys! I was a little nervous about the overall health of our team. Especially missing Kam Chancellor again, as well as Bennett and Willson. Plus Russell’s bum leg and Jimmy Graham nursing that bad knee back to health. But Russ looked like his old self in the pocket and he wasn’t afraid to run the ball himself, and Graham hurdling Stephon Gilmore and making 2 one-handed touchdown catches took away any worry that I had regarding their health and ability in this game. It was one of the most stressful and dramatic games that I’ve been to in my life, but coming away with a win and hearing the roar of the 12s made it one of the best games that I’ve been to as well.

Overall the Hawks are looking great, even better when we get healthy again. Now we look forward to what I think will be our biggest challenge yet. In New England to face the Patriots, who are coming off of a bye week. The boys will need our support more than ever, so be loud, wear your blue, and show your pride 12s!

With That,

Mike Hawk is OUT!
