Well hey there 12s!

Do me a favor real quick and breath in!....and gently let it out..

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHH. Now that that's over with, let's get the Good, Bad, and the Big Picture

The Good: The Seahawks defense continues to be a dominating force in the NFL. It would be easier to see if they didn't have to go back out and play for 25 minutes with a swift 4 play break in between, but they still held off the Titans for 2 1/2 quarters before they were actually able to put the ball in the endzone. That's a true upside to that game, was the defense left it all on the field, they gave it all they had.

The Bad: God, I wish that this section would quit being longer than the good  every damned week. I won't go into the O-line again, but we weren't able to get the ball moving on the ground really at all. They continued to stuff the run game, and while Russ may have had more overall passing yards, the pass game was really lacking as well. I place just as much blame for this on the O-line as I do for Wilson himself. I saw a ton of gimme receptions that were thwarted by a truly poor pass by Wilson. It's an easy argument that he was limited because he's always running for his life back there, but i saw plenty with a planted back foot that simply missed the target. And one more thing, you have one final shot to make a play happen, and you don't count how many fricken players you have on the field??? C'MON!

The Big Picture: It's still early on in the season. You may recall that the year of 49, the boys started rather rough and everybody counted them out of a repeat Super Bowl almost immediately. These guys have won ugly for the last few years. It's hard to watch, but it is our reality. And when you have a lot of ugly wins, there's going to be ugly losses. We are far from out of the playoffs at this point, let's give our boys a few more weeks to knock the dust off and let the others kill their players trying to get an early lead, they always do their best when their backs are against the wall.

This was the first game that had me raging in my little know-it-all chair. I don't want to come here every week and justify why they played poorly or lost, but it's the way things are laying down currently. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, this game sucked. We can blame the hot weather, the foreign stadium, and the refs all we want, but we were simply outplayed this week. We put on a display that earned a big fat "L", BUT, as with any game we as fans and they as players need to shake this off, let out the steam, and get our payback by railing the Colts next week. This week's MVP is Luke Willson, the man put on a great display picking up some serious slack. Stand firm behind your team kids! With that....Mike Hawk is OUT
