What's up 12s!

Boy, a lot can happen in a week eh? Just last week we were taking on the Atlanta Falcons in a game that was....meloncholy to say the least. The first half looked great, the team was clicking and we were looking like a team that could take on the world again, but the loss of Justin Britt early on was a hard hit to endure and the rest of the game showed just that reality. Now coming in with a schedule that has been voted one of the toughest in the league, changes need to be made.

And boy were they made. Technically the move was made before last week's game, but we added Safety Quandre Diggs. Personally, I don't know much about the man, but as my buddy Shaun says, "Detroit is devastated. That's got to be a good sign". Him tag-teaming with Marquise Blair that had one heck of a breakout game last week is the kind of shakeup that I believe our secondary needs. He's currently nursing an injury, but we'll be seeing him soon.

On top of that, our boys were happy to announce that they've added even MORE depth to our Wide Receiving corps in a man by the name of Josh Gordon. Gordon was living on the Patriots' Injured Reserve list for a couple weeks nursing a knee injury, and was released after he finally came off of it. What makes me nervous is the number of teams that passed on him before we picked him up, as well as what it means for our current receivers. We currently sit with Lockett, Metcalf, Brown, Moore, Ursua, and Turner. That's a pretty stacked list already and now we're adding a household name. Needless to say, it's going to make our game even more interesting, and I have to be honest, it's fun watching Pete and John slinging this hard and this fast this season. There's a spark and a fire that can only be aimed at one thing...The Lombardi.

Time to shift into another gear 12s, we've got a monster of a 2nd half coming up, and it starts against the Bucks. 1 game at a time, we've got this. See you in the CLink 12s! With that...Mike Hawk is OUT!
