What is up 12s!!

HUGE game over the weekend against the Texans, let's dive right in!

The Good: I'm just gonna say everything! This game was pretty much executed in a textbook fashion. The offense was clicking, the defense was strong, the special teams were perfection, I loved most everything about this game! Monster catches made by Graham, Lockett, and of course Paul Richardson. I don't know about you all, but when i see a bomb of a pass going down field with #10 in the area, I'm incredibly confident. The man knows how to make a stupid/impossible catch while wearing 2 defenders like a blanket. Despite the ugly drop during the game, a huge fumble recovery shout for Luke Willson, and for all of you that shouted that we should've gotten rid of Tanner McEvoy for Kasen Williams, I proudly tell you all to stuff it. A lot of turnovers made by the defense, Earl Thomas with an expert pick 6, and Sherman with 2 fantastic interceptions! Showing what exactly happens when you disrespect the Legion of Boom! My pick for MVP is definitely going to Paul Richardson, but I want to give a shout to Shaquill Griffin. That man is the corner we've been looking for!

The Bad: I'm very excited that this section is going to finally be shorter than the good. The only thing that I would change about that game for the better is for the offense to do better than a 3 and out on the first drive. But that's the new cycle for the Seahawks, lay low in the 1st half, and turn it on in the 2nd. The boys matched them point for point throughout the game, but I would've liked to have seen a little more fire in the opening.

The Big Picture: This was the best game of the season so far. If the Seahawks can do that, every time, I'll be a happy camper. They're in good position right now, top of the division and 4th in the NFC. This is the time of year when losses get expensive and we keep an eye on that playoff bracket. But a 5-2 record is strong, especially coming into a fairly rough back end of the season. These next few weeks will be a test for our boys, but I'm confident that they'll take them on one at a time. We've got the Redskins coming into town this weekend. We'll break that down a little further into the week. That's all I've got for you today, with that.....Mike Hawk is OUT!
