The Prodigy's Blog "Crazy Work Situations "

We’ve all had to work with that one coworker that just doesn’t get it, who tends to create more problems than they’re able to solve. But the coworker from this story takes the cake, or should I say the donut? Yes, A Dunkin Donuts manager dropped a tray of donuts on the floor then put them back. Although this is not something you shouldn’t do, I can’t say I blame this person. The 10 second rule definitely applies to such delicious donuts. But why sell them? If you tell your coworkers that you dropped them, not only do you get to make more donuts, but you get to eat the ones you dropped as well. Sounds like a win/win to me. One things for sure though, I wouldn’t think of selling something I dropped on the floor, especially if everyone saw me drop them on the floor. This did get me thinking about all the crazy moments I’ve had with coworker’s over the years.

The funniest and by far stupidest thing I can remember my coworker doing came from a time when I worked at a local grocery store. There was a pallet of sparkling juice on top of a pallet of paper towels and our super ambitious dairy clerk thought he could get the paper towels down without moving the sparkling Juice. At the time, I was stocking some shelves. That’s when I heard what I thought was a car crashing into our store. I was in panic mode when I heard the dairy clerk over the intercom, “Nick, it happened”. I’ve never seen someone turn that red before, my manager was pissed. A sea of foam came roaring out of the back room and although it looked freaking awesome, it created a huge mess. Needless to say, my manager made the dairy clerk clean it up all by himself; it took him 8 hours. Lesson learned.

What about you, when did you coworker do something crazy?
