Who is The Weirdo Hero?

This is going to come as a shock to you…but I am a huge fan of wrestling.

One of my favorite things is when I discover a wrestler that instantly becomes a new favorite…it’s no different than music for me, I still love discovering new bands!

Just recently at Defy Wrestling (I’m the ring announcer for Defy), we had a wrestler named Randy Myers wrestle.  Randy has been wrestling for nearly 20 years…has had an incredible career throughout Canada (originally from Calgary) and now based in Vancouver.

Well last month was the first time he wrestled in Seattle, and he ended up wrestling 2 different Defy shows…and I instantly became a fan of “The Weirdo Hero”.

A couple of weeks ago he was at Defy Now, and we had a fun moment when he crowned me with his Mickey Mouse hat while I did the ring intro…and yes, the hat had “Randy” embroidered on it!

Who's the announcer of the club That's made for you and me M-I-G-G-S-Y M-O-U-S-E Hey! there, Hi! there, Ho! there You're as welcome as can be M-I-G-G-S-Y M-O-U-S-E Miggsy Mouse (Jimmy too!) After his match, him and I sat down and had a chat about his career for my podcast, Migs Vs. The World Of Wrestling, and it’s a fun conversation.  We chat about his time training at Stu Hart's Dungeon...how breaking his leg was the best thing for his career...and more!  Check it out…

Randy will be back next week on Friday 11/10 for Defy 9!  He is taking on the “Callihan Death machine” – Sami Callihan!  This is going to be an epic match, I just know it…and you can get tix at DefyWrestling.com!
