A Barrage of Sabotage

October 24, 2018

Hola Bitcholas,

I've shared this story on the show before, repeated it today and have been asked to share it one more time on  this blog...which is remarkably accommodating considering that this is my blog. Perfect.

I'll start with the fact that I have not one ounce of regret.

Working in restaurants years ago and it was an exceptionally busy night. We were understaffed, but whatever, we were handling our business. The chef strolls in (on her day off, but is wearing her chef pants and jacket because, in addition to being a chef, was also a lunatic) and grabs a seat at the bar. She never offered to help, but had no problem ordering a risotto with wilted spinach.

As she was not a paying customer, her order went to the back of the line; take care of your customers first. Standard sh*t.

She disagreed and demanded her risotto. This pissed me off, but I obliged and started her dish. What she didn't know was that the wilted spinach was not wilted in the traditional way; hot saute pan with garlic and lemon juice or something. Nooooo...I 'wilted' the spinach in the steamy, sweaty undercarriage of my pants. That's right, my sweat wilted her spinach, the spinach was mixed in her risotto and she ate it.

This made an otherwise sh*tty night truly fantastic.

That's my story.

Until tomorrow, do what you do best and STAY BEAUTIFUL!

And you can even get your #BourbonandBaconFest tickets while you're here. Don't say we never gave you anything.
