Ghouly Googlies

Hola Bitcholas,

It's Halloween and plenty of people got dressed up today. Pretty much our entire office did. We didn't, but a LOT of our coworkers did. Seems that adults just LOVE All Hallow's Eve. No problem with that, I just never think about it.

However, this morning I was greeted with these words; "Happy Halloween, dad!" The enthusiasm behind the sentiment was fantastic, but it occurred to me that no one really says least, not first thing in the morning. Christmas, anniversaries, birthdays and Mother's/ Father's Day seem to be the only days you actually start with the "Happy (fill-in-the-blank).

I never gave this much thought before this morning (as kids have a way of creating MANY things you've never considered before) but the general rule of thumb is (seemingly), 'if it's not an occasion that you get a greeting card, no need to open the day with 'Happy (fill-in-the-blank).

On a quick side note, congrats to my daughter who won 'best homemade costume' at her school today.

Until tomorrow, do what you do best and STAY BEAUTIFUL!
