Remember when we were predicting this season to be a rebuilding year for our Hawks?! Ummm, I know I said it... And now, all of Seattle is BEAMING and BUZZING with playoff pride as we gear up for a Wild Card Weekend in Dallas. If you're looking for a place to hunker down with some good food, cold beer on tap and a sea of 12s surrounding you on Saturday night, check out my picks of places for playoff football!

1. Loose Wheel - Puyallup or Tacoma. Our very own Steve Migs calls this spirited establishment a "sweet spot" and it's the perfect place to cheer on our Hawks if you're down in the south end!

2. Buzz Inn Steakhouse - multiple locations. Whether you want to belly up to the bar or sit in the restaurant with the kids, there are a ton of TVs to pick from. Thee Ted Smith would tell you to order the Bacon Wrapped Prawns and a Sportster of suds.

3. Hawks Nest Sports Bar - SODO and W. Seattle. The walls are covered with Seattle sports memorabilia, art and jerseys plus a TON of TVs, and their spirited cocktails are sure to fire you up for the Hawks game!

4. Sporty's Beef & Brew - Everett. Sporty's always throws down the killer food and drink specials for any Seattle-area sporting event, and their jello shots are top notch!

5. Thrashers Corner Sports Pub - Bothell. Home of Bothell's Best Burger and 16 taps to choose from, call ahead to make a reservation for your group and catch the game from any seat in the house!

Kickoff is at 5:15pm, my fellow Rockaholic 12s! Get to one of these great local watering holes early to snag your spot and get ready to cheer loud and proud for our Seahawks!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
