On what would have been Chris Cornell's 54th birthday, Vicky Cornell announced that her late husband will forever be memorialized in his hometown of Seattle.

A life-sized bronze statue of the late Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog and Audioslave frontman will be on display at the Museum of Pop Culture, and the public is invited to its unveiling on August 29th.

Seattle is still mourning this great loss, and I like to think that having this statue dedicated to his memory will help bring additional comfort and healing while we continue to process our grief. His music and his legacy will live on forever without question.
