Without a doubt, Dave Grohl has been through some of the biggest ups and downs life could possibly throw at you.

He was part of one of the biggest bands in the world in the 90s. He helped shape the Seattle sound and ultimately a new genre of music. After the death of his friend and frontman Kurt Cobain, the former Nirvana drummer struggled to process such a tragic loss. But over time, he was able to spin that pain into musical creativity, and he took the Foo Fighters into the spotlight.
