Hawks fans love #89 for his unbelievable athleticism during the Seahawks' regular season, but the community action he's taking in the off-season has the potential to help thousands of families impacted by the government shutdown.

On Saturday January 26th, Doug Baldwin and Northwest Harvest will be accepting donations of food and/or cash in West Seattle to assist furloughed Federal employees in putting food on their tables.

If you're unable to come to this specific Safeway to donate in person, you can find the Safeway or Albertsons store nearest you to contribute. This is a statewide effort, and every donation counts!

You can also go online to make a donation via NorthwestHarvest.org to support those who are struggling most with the impact of the shutdown. And THAT is what we call Rockaholics Helping Rockaholics!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
