Friday Night Halloween Party Supports Local Music Therapy

Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: Music Project's Halloween Party

October 23, 2017

There are a LOT of Halloween parties and happenings coming up in the next week, but one party in particular is doing something extra special - raising money for Music Therapy in Snohomish County.

This Friday, you're invited to join the Snohomish County Music Project from 6pm-10pm at Northwest Music Hall!  There will of course be the classic trick or treating, a costume contest, dancing and FUN, but the best part is that your support will help further music therapy programs for children and youth, veterans, seniors and more. If you have kids, one theater will be open to children's activities in the Music Room. For those interested in more grown-up activities, the Concert Hall will have live music from High Friday and DJ Ryan!

Here's a little sneak peek of High Friday...

When I learned about the organization putting on the event, I wanted to get more information about Music Therapy, and what I discovered truly made me happy about the mission. Music Therapy can help with a number of things. For instance, acknowledging different learning styles in children, treating those who have experienced trauma serving in the military, and addressing emotional and behavioral needs associated with aging - just to name a few!

I certainly hope this incredible cause inspires you to join in on the Halloween festivities this Friday!

Happy Adventuring, --
