How many of these holiday light displays have you visited?

Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: The PNW's Best Light Displays

December 4, 2017

I love the fact that the PNW takes holiday light displays to a whole new level!

Zoo Lights - Point Defiance Zoo, Tacoma: Without a doubt one of my favorite childhood memories, Point Defiance Zoo puts more than a half-million lights into incredible animal displays. So magical!

Canyon Lights - Capilano Suspension Bridge, North Vancouver BC: Make a weekend of it and visit Canyon Lights in North Van! You'll be HIGH up in treehouses, bridges and even the cliff walk, so hopefully you have no fear of heights... It's STUNNING!

Lights of Christmas - Warm Beach Camp, Stanwood: I grew up less than two miles from this beautiful light festival, and now I live less than two miles from it in the opposite direction! It's become an annual for me and I look forward to it every year. There are more than one million lights, live performances and holiday shopping spots throughout!

Holiday With Lights - Wild Waves & Enchanted Village, Federal Way: Trade in your summer attire for winter gear and explore Wild Waves & Enchanted Village in a totally different way! More than 25 amusement rides and attractions are decorated with more than one million lights. It's beautiful!

Spokane Winter Glow Spectacular, Spokane: In their 4th year of dazzling visitors during the holidays, you'll definitely want to visit this popular winter wonderland if you find yourself on the east side of the state. One of the coolest things is their holiday light maze! Plus you might catch a fireworks display while you're there.

If you know of a beautiful light display in your neighborhood I should check out this season, email me the info! Happy Holidays, Rockaholics!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
