Local Masquerade Party is raising money for suicide prevention

Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: 5th Annual Masquerade Party & Silent Auction

June 1, 2018

Suicide has had an impact on all of us. Whether it was the tragic death of a loved one or an idol, we are all familiar with the pain of losing someone to suicide. A local organization aims to raise $20,000 on Saturday June 9th to help save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is the largest nonprofit in the nation whose focus is suicide prevention, and the Washington State Chapter is throwing their 5th Annual Masquerade Party & Silent Auction next Saturday.

The event will be held in Haynes Hall at McMenamins Anderson School in Bothell, and if you've never been there before, it is a SPECTACULAR local venue! From 7-10pm, wear your finest Masquerade mask and bid on items in the silent auction, throw down for the dessert dash, and pick your vino in wine bottle pull! There will be delicious food and you'll get two free drinks with your ticket purchase.

Tickets are $65 each or $125 for two, and if your company is interested in hosting a table for this event, please purchase the "Sponsor Table" and enjoy some added benefits!

If you are unable to make the Masquerade Party but you'd still like to contribute, you are welcome to make a donation to further the mission of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

This continued conversation about suicide prevention is something we are all involved in. Thank you for your support, Rockaholics!

Happy Adventuring,
