In the words of Tom Petty, "the waiting is the hardest part" and with all of the Pain in the Grass anticipation this week, I know EXACTLY what Tom meant.

We're bringing our Rockaholic brothers and sisters TWO days of #Pain2018 this Friday and Saturday, and with dozens of bands playing, it's hard to single out favorite songs, but these are the 4 jams I hope we'll hear this weekend.

1. Lamb of God - "Now You've Got Something To Die For"

This was the very first Lamb of God song that was introduced to me more than a decade ago, and it's still my favorite LOG song to this day!

2. Alice in Chains - "Nutshell"

Hands down one of the most powerful, goosebump-giving songs in the entire Alice in Chains song library, and most recently they dedicated it to Vinnie Paul's memory.

3. Stone Temple Pilots - "Sex Type Thing"

In case you hadn't already heard, KISW's own Steve Migs will be on the drums for this one and Seattle's own Glenn Cannon will be on guitar!

4. Anthrax - "Bring The Noise"

Always a treat for the ears and totally mosh worthy.

Get your last-minute Pain in the Grass tickets, Rockaholics, and we'll see you Friday and Saturday at White River Amphitheater!

Happy Rocking,

Taryn Daly
