Paint Your Pooch, Drink Beer & Help A Local Dog Park!

Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: Head to Whitewall Brewing on Saturday

September 12, 2017

I'm not much of an artist, but if you bribe me with beer and philanthropy and dogs, I'm all in!

This Saturday, Whitewall Brewing Company in Marysville is hosting Paint Your Pooch, a fun way to commemorate your lack of artistic ability AND your love for your pooch all while raising money to support the Strawberry Fields for Rover Off-Leash Dog Park in Marysville. Personal note: Kona and Kai have had MANY good times here!

Space is limited, so sign up early to guarantee your spot. For $45, you'll paint and 8 x 10 picture and get your first beer covered, with all proceeds supporting fence repairs for an awesome local dog park organized by the Marysville Dog Owners Group!

You'll want to bring an 8 x 10 photo of your pet - even if it's not a pooch! Head shots of your pet are preferred by amazing local artist Aletha Tatge, who will bring out the budding artist in you and instruct you along the way to a finished product. The brewery is kid AND dog friendly, so feel free to bring 'em!

With 19 taps to peruse, you're sure to find a few favorites over the course of the afternoon!

PinkyQ’s BBQ food truck will be on location as well, so come hungry! Here's a look at one of their sample menus:

Hurry and reserve your spot! It's going to be an AWESOME afternoon, whether you're a total Picasso or more of a preschool finger painter!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
