Breast Cancer Awareness Month brings our communities together in a pink-colored battle to save lives and raise awareness to fight this terrible disease. On October 21st, for the 3rd year in a row, a community of tattoo artists in Washington are giving back in a way that only they can - with permanent ink.

For P.ink Day in Washington, 13 volunteer tattoo artists from seven shops around the greater Seattle area will tattoo 13 breast cancer survivors over the mastectomy scars they were left with from their battles.

The gathering will take place at Bremerton's Fairfield Inn & Suites with participating studios to include Seattle's Madame Lazonga Tattoo, Jackson Street Tattoo Company and Hidden Hand Tattoo; Lakewood’s Aces and Eights Tattoo; Lynnwood’s Good Karma Tattoo; Silverdale’s Bleeding Black Tattoo; and Bremerton's Red Peony Studios
