Rock Blog: 5 Reasons We're PUMPED Windowpane Is Playing #Pain2016

August 15, 2016

Rockaholics, meet Windowpane. Windowpane, meet the Rockaholics.

I'm sure MANY of you are already familiar with the Seattle-based rockers, but for those who are not, here are 5 Reasons We're PUMPED Windowpane Is Playing #Pain2016:

1. Windowpane is FULLY committed to ROCK. These guys bring so much fire and intensity to everything they do. They are showmen who are insanely skilled at their craft! You'll never hear them cutting corners or outsourcing their sound. The guys are powerful musicians, excellent song writers, and experienced performers! Everything you love about rock music. That's Windowpane.

2. They are one of the most popular bands in the PNW. Windowpane has grown a MASSIVE following in the greater Seattle area and beyond. They've been on tour with Five Finger Death Punch and Queensryche, gaining new followers on major tours. And August 21st, they will share the Main Stage at Pain In The Grass with Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Alter Bridge, Anthrax, Saint Asonia, Pop Evil, and Stitched Up Heart!

3. Their new self-titled album 'Windowpane' is everything you've ever wanted to hear, and you should download it immediately if you haven't already. It's a MONSTER album with flowing elements of blues and emotion and grit and good energy.  My favorite track on the album is 'More I Run' and I was literally just telling Glenn last week that I love to crank it up till I nearly blow out my car speakers and sing at the top of my lungs along with him! You should try it sometime. You'll love it.

4. They are good guys. Seriously, the best. They make every single person they meet feel like a part of the Windowpane family. The band has grown SO organically through the support of local fans, and the guys are very connected to those who support them. If you find yourself talking to Glenn, Tony, Mark, or Sean, you'll never have a more genuine conversation!

5. Windowpane sets the tone for Pain In The Grass 2016. Not only are they playing the Main Stage, they are opening up ALL of #Pain2016! I almost feel like sending a warning to the rest of the bands... you know, like, "Hey guys, this is going to be a REALLY tough act to follow."

Don't miss Windowpane's set! They go on at 1:50pm on Sunday August 21st at Pain In The Grass, so get there EARLY and rock out with these dudes!!
