Rock Blog: A7X Want Fans To Star In Next Video

If you're a big fan of Avenged Sevenfold, and traveling to Los Angeles with less than a week's notice is completely doable for you, you could potentially be a part of their next music video.

The Pain In The Grass alumni will begin filming their next music video on Wednesday February 8th, but they definitely want their biggest fans involved. They've issued a casting call, asking any interested folks to submit an up-close shot of their face, plus a full-body shot showcasing what you'd look like if you'd JUST been to an A7X concert, and email the two photos to [email protected]. It sounds like the hope is to have a super organic look for the video, with those participating providing their own wardrobe and LOTS of black.

Still no word on which song off the The Stage this video will be for, but the concept is completely different from the vibe of the video for 'The Stage':

In a recent interview I did with Synyster Gates, he dished on dropping the new album as a surprise overnight, the band's new drummer Brooks Wackerman and the live performance they streamed from the roof of the Capital Records building in Hollywood. The footage from the show is insanely cool, and you can check out the interview here

To those submitting their photos for consideration, good luck! We hope Seattle is represented with a Rockaholic or two!

Happy Rocking,
