KISW's annual tradition of celebrating all things Seattle was bigger than it's ever been, and that's due to our generous community of Rockaholics.

This year's Seattle Rock Day involved a new partner - SMASH, or Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare - and together we were able to raise $37,000 to back their mission!!

COVID-19 has hit the music community hard. We joined forces at a most critical time, and are able to help them support as many local musicians as possible in getting through these challenges. And with so many local musicians feeling the stresses of the Coronavirus global pandemic, SMASH even shifted their initiatives to provide telehealth resources, emergency dental appointments, mental health and substance abuse teletherapy and SO much more.

You can still support SMASH with a donation today, and we look forward to even more work together in the future! If you are a local musician, SMASH membership is totally free, so join today.

Thank you to the passionate folks at SMASH, to our wonderful Rockaholics for your support and to the incredibly generous donor who matched what we raised to hit a grand total of $37,000!

Happy Rocking (from a safe social distance),
