Charity cribbage tournament returns to Arlington brewery

Taryn's Wreckreation Guide

When the Seahawks bye week comes around, it can only mean one thing: Skookum Brewery is hosting another a charity cribbage tournament!

For the past three football seasons, the wonderful staff at Skookum Brewery has thrown the ultimate cribbage nerd party benefiting the National MS Society's Greater Northwest Chapter.

On Sunday October 21st, 64 players will square off in a double-elimination, bracket-style competition to find out who is the greatest player of them all!

Typically there is a $10 suggested donation to play, with $1/pint graciously donated back to the cause from the amazing owners of Skookum.

There are prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place which have ranged from overnight getaways to fine dining and growler fills to local wine. Our friend Bill won the spring tournament - look at the smile on his face with that basket of winnings!

Congrats to Bill, winner of the charity cribbage tournament at @skookumbrewery!! We raised a TON of money for the @mssociety and had a blast doing it!!

You'll always find a delicious food truck parked outside, so come hungry, come thirsty and come ready to show off your skills! Even if the Hawks aren't playing you'll be able to keep tabs on games around the NFL on Skookum's giant projector screen.

You can sign up by calling the brewery at (360) 403-7094, or stop by in person to reserve your place in the tournament.

If you cannot make the event but would like to support the National MS Society, you can make a donation to the Greater Northwest Chapter here

Also, please don't let my dad win again... he won the first time we ever did this and he's STILL bragging about it all these years later!!

Happy Adventuring,
