Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: 3 Places You'll LOVE To Take The Kids This Summer

Grown-ups can have fun, too!!

June 13, 2017

The kids are getting out of school in just a few days, and you're probably bracing yourself for their boundless energy and non-stop noise. After 9 months in school, it will be quite the transition... but fear not! Aside from the summer camps, sleepovers and lake days, there are PLENTY of places in the area where you can take the kids out for some fun and bring them home nice and tired. AND they have some great deals for the summertime. Plus, you'll have fun doing these things, too, because why should kids have all the fun??

Marysville's Altitude Trampoline Park just opened last year, and it's the perfect place bounce the afternoon away. Even adults will tap into their inner child and want to take advantage of their 28,000-square-foot facility. The park offers dodge ball, slam dunk basketball and fitness programs. Plus if your child has a summer birthday, this might be the best place to party.

Wild Waves Theme & Water Park has been around FOREVER! I remember heading to Federal Way SO many times as a kid, hitting the water slides with my cousins or riding the rides with friends. It sure has changed since those days! They have some of the coolest slides and rides around, plus their Season Pass is a KILLER deal. Just don't forget to pack the sunscreen.

Evergreen Speedway in Monroe has a jam-packed summer schedule of racing and it's fun for the whole family. You'll be blown away by the drag races, car shows, drift cars, sprints and figure 8s! There's something happening every week, and kids of all ages go totally nuts for the shows.

If you have another hot-spot to take the kids this summer where grown-ups have a blast as well, shoot me an email so I can pass along the info to the rest of the Rockaholics!

Happy Adventuring,
