Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: 7 Of The COOLEST Record Store Day Performances

April 13, 2017

Record Store Day 2017 is FAST approaching, and artists will be performing inside (and outside) independent record stores all over the country! Here's a look back at some of the coolest Record Store Day performances from past years.

When Eddie Vedder jumps on stage with The Sonics in Seattle, you KNOW it's a good day...

Metallica have supported RSD for YEARS, and last year they did so in person.

The PNW Metal Tribe will love this one - Opeth supported RSD back in '13.

Foo Fighters bring enthusiasm to EVERYTHING they do, including Record Store Day.

Breaking it down acoustically, Thrice sounded INCREDIBLE during this performance.

Their full RSD set from 7 years ago was pretty amazing, but Ava Adore happens to be my favorite Smashing Pumpkins song :)

Now this isn't technically a "performance", but it's certainly worth noting - Blur brought an ice cream truck to Record Store Day! YES!

Be sure to check out what's happening In Store next Saturday for the 10th anniversary of Record Store Day!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
