Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: The Best Pasta I've Ever Had

January 25, 2017

I'm a lover of carbs, and have no interest in cutting them EVER, so when my lady-trio decided on pasta for lunch today, I was STOKED. And just a few hours ago, I enjoyed the BEST pasta I've ever had.

When my girlfriend Tamra explained that we had to get to our destination at 11am, I knew they must be doing something right at Il Corvo Pasta. Upon the doors opening, we were already four groups deep for lunch, and by the time we got to the counter to order our food, the line was completely out the door of the charming Pioneer Square restaurant. But they certainly move FAST and all of the people inside were delighted to be there. As you could tell, so were we!

Ladies who lunch. And don't cut carbs.

The decor and wall art featured antique tools and rolling pins, giving the space such an old-world feel!

What makes Il Corvo's restaurant so unique is the daily board, which changes daily, featuring fresh dishes like today's Squid Ink Spaghetti.

That one instantly caught my attention, and quickly became the best pasta I've ever had! I'm a lover of all things spicy and savory, and the Squid Ink Spaghetti completely fit the bill.

We also enjoyed their Focaccia Bread and dipping oil plus a Kale Salad. Let me tell you this - I didn't know I could love KALE that much. Absolutely phenomenal all the way around. I can't wait to go back and try something new from the ever-changing menu!

Everything is made from scratch, and they use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create the most incredible textures and flavors.

Il Corvo is open Monday-Friday for lunch only from 11-3, so make it work with your schedule and you won't regret it!

Where do you go for pasta in your neck of the woods? Send me an email so I can give it a whirl!

Happy  Adventuring,
