Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: National Something On A Stick Day

March 28, 2017

So many delicious foods come on a stick, it's no wonder there's an entire day dedicated to the art! Here are a few foods and treats you might consider celebrating with.

1. Corn Dogs. Extremely nostalgic for many, there's nothing like a piping hot corn dog to transport you back to your childhood. Today's a good day to indulge.

The best things in life DO come on a stick! Happy #SomethingonaStickDay! We are all about the corn dog --❤️#ClientLove #AgencyLife #APUniverse

2. Kebobs. With SO many ways to make them, your combinations are endless. Chicken, beef, prawns, veggie or all-meat, fire up that grill - it's a great night for kebob-ing!

3. Chicken Satay Skewers. Since I don't make them at home, my favorite place to get them is at Jasmin in my hometown of Stanwood!

4. Caramel Apples. Another one that brings me back to my younger years, the Caramel Apple was a MUST HAVE at the fair growing up. Good thing you can hit up places like Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to get your fix on a day like today.

Come on in this weekend! #rmcf #chocolate #caramelapple

5. Popsicles. Sorry, ice cream sandwiches. Today is not about you. But any frozen treat on a stick is being celebrated today! If you want, you can even make your own adult-version, like these:
