Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis THIS SUNDAY!

June 9, 2017

If you’ve been a fan of KISW in recent years, there’s a good chance you’ve met a member of the Rock Girl Family – Chelly.

She’s an absolutely DELIGHTFUL person who I am happy to call a friend, and she has participated in several charity events very near and dear to my heart over the years.

This Sunday there’s one in Seattle that’s near and dear to hers. Take Steps For Crohn’s & Colitis.

Chelly was diagnosed with Crohn’s when she was only 18 years old, and over the years has endured surgery, medications and a myriad of symptoms. If there’s one thing I can tell you, she’s never let any of the frustrations slow her down. Chelly represented KISW for several years as a Rock Girl, actively participating in concerts and events. You’ve probably taken a picture with her somewhere along the way! She’s also an avid hiker and an active aunt to her sweet nephew Teegan.

On Sunday, Chelly walks as the captain of team “Bad to the Crohn’s” with friends and family supporting her journey living with the disease. My hope is that our INCREDIBLE network of Rockaholics can rally around her, raising even more funds and awareness for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation! Here is the itinerary for Sunday:

2:00 PM Check-in and Festival Start
3:30 PM Walk Start

Magnuson Park

EVERYTHING COUNTS so give what you can and spread the good vibes to support a member of the KISW family who I love so dearly!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
