Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: These 6 Bands Are Why Your Saturday Night Will Rock

August 2, 2017

Six, count them... SIX... of KISW's favorite Loud & Local bands are sharing a stage on Saturday night, and it's a party that's already been talked about for MONTHS. Regarding the line up, one might use the word 'epic'. Or 'legendary'. I simply say it's a show that shouldn't be missed!

Klover Jane is headlining, and you probably already know these guys, whether you think you do or not. Members of the band threw down for KISW's Live Day, AND they played MigsFest last fall! They definitely keep the "Seattle Sound" alive and well, and have SO much energy on stage! You'll instantly connect to Rane Stone's vocal stylings and by the end of every song, you'll be singing along at the top of your lungs!

My dudes Wyatt Olney & The Wreckage, SUPERFEKTA and WOODSHED will be melting every face at Studio Seven before Klover Jane takes the stage! They're three of my favorite local bands, all working on new records and seriously cool dudes to have as friends!

Not trying to brag or anything, but I've been on stage with WOATW before. Not sure if they'll invite me back though, because I definitely forgot the words to the song thanks to serious stage fright!

Before those three bands, I am PUMPED AS HELL to see two local bands that have been on my "to-do" list - female-fronted Rev 3 (girl power!) and Stoic! I seriously can't believe I haven't caught them live yet. It's DEFINITELY time!

With a 6-band bill this strong, there's no other place to be Saturday night but Studio Seven. Advance tickets are $10 and you can get 'em here, or $15 at the door.

Songs to listen for:

Klover Jane - 'Life for Life'

WOATW - 'The Underground'

Superfekta - 'Gone &  Done It'

WOODSHED - 'Squatch'

Rev 3 - 'Apologies'

Stoic - 'Behind Tired Eyes'

I'll see you wild children of ROCK this weekend!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
