Taryn's Wreckreation Guide: Wanna Walk With Me?

April 3, 2017

Rockaholics, you are cordially invited to join the KISW team I'm captaining for Walk MS: Snohomish County this Saturday April 8th! We'll be meeting at Tulalip Amphitheatre around 9am, and the walk begins at 10, where we'll embark on a 2.4 mile walk decked out in orange to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis in this community.

My mom has been living with MS for almost 8 years, and the cause is super important to my family and me. My mom is the rock of the Daly crew, and she's such a brave fighter. I'd do ANYTHING to help her, as she has done for me all 32 years of my life. Hell, she's even letting me live with her and my dad again while we remodel our house! My mom ROCKS.

I am SO thrilled that KISW has supported me in my efforts to make Multiple Sclerosis a thing of the past. Through this involvement, I have met HUNDREDS of Rockaholics who have shared their stories about how MS has impacted their life. At first I felt VERY alone in the world of Multiple Sclerosis, but I've become part of a community of fighters, and it's AWESOME! If you want to come out and see what it's all about, join our team and come hang out on Saturday!

So proud to have these amazing folks as friends, family, and #WalkMS team members! THANK YOU Team #KISW!

At the end of the walk, there are snacks and beverages and an opportunity to socialize while rocking out to live music!  We also have a tradition on the KISW team of celebrating at Skookum Brewery afterward, one of my favorite north-end breweries in Arlington, just an exit north of the Tulalip Amphitheatre! They're the awesome folks who hosted the recent cribbage tournament benefitting the National MS Society, too! If you can't make the walk, consider stopping by for a pint with our team! We'll be there around noon. Note that it is 21+, but it's also dog friendly :)

Thank you for all your support to the MS Society at the Cribbage Tournament today!

If you can't make the walk or the after party, please consider making a donation. Every dollar counts, and it means such a great deal to have your support. This is a cause I won't stop fighting for until Multiple Sclerosis is a thing of the past!

On top of that, there's a RAD event happening on Saturday April 29th - Rock MS! I'll be emceeing, so if this coming weekend doesn't work for you, come out to ROCK with some of Seattle's most kick-ass tribute bands!

Thanks again, Rockaholics. You're the absolute best!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
