If there was ever any concern about the next generation carrying the rock torch, rest assured that the flame is burning bright and strong thanks in LARGE part to three incredibly talented local teen bands! I had the opportunity to catch up with their lead singers, and after listening to the interview, you'll know why I feel so strongly about the direction the Seattle scene is headed.

Bella Mariani of LocoMotive is a sophomore at Mt. Si High School in Snoqualmie, Ethan Bovey of Splitting Silence is a freshman at Roosevelt High School in Seattle, and Owen Selwyn of Butter Boy is a sophomore who also attends Roosevelt. These three are totally inspirational when it comes to following your dreams, pursuing your passions and loving what you do. Listen to the full interview here:

You can see all THREE of these bands Friday, May 18th at Tony V's Garage in Everett for show #2 of their 3x3x3 Teen Rock Band Tour, with KISW's Pain in the Grass opener for Sunday August 26th, SUPERFEKTA!

Support your local scene, Rockaholics, and ESPECIALLY these young up-and-comers who have a long career in music ahead of them!

Happy Rocking,
