Rockaholics, it's time to lift up one of our own as he recovers from a horrific attack in downtown Seattle.

Ryan Georg of local metal band Saint Helen was leaving a show in downtown Seattle when he was attacked and beaten nearly to death with a baseball bat before being rushed to the ICU, unconscious and on a respirator, with multiple face and skull fractures. Just this week, he was able to go back home despite still working on learning how to speak, but he’s also just been able to pick up the guitar again!

There are a few benefit shows coming up that we'd love to see a HUGE turnout for, the first happening this Friday December 7th at Airport Tavern in Tacoma. Ruckus In The Records Presents Benefit For Ryan Georg will feature Stoned Evergreen TravelersBlood, Fire & Rainwater; James Hunnicutt and more.

Saint Helen was originally slated to open a show this Sunday December 9th at Skylark in West Seattle. After the brutal attack Ryan suffered, this show has evolved into  A Benefit For Ryan Georg, featuring The Whole Bolivian Army, Jodie Watts and Head the Hive

Next Friday December 14th, Saint Helen was booked for a show with Fallen Kings at The Plaid Pig in Tacoma. Now the show has turned into a benefit for Ryan, also featuring Massacre At The Opera and Fifteen Stitches.

If you are unable to attend, consider donating to Ryan's Go Fund Me to help offset the overwhelming medical bills incurred on this long road to recovery.

Anything this community of Rockaholics can do to help is greatly appreciated... sharing the info, spreading the word about the shows, donating to the the raffle or to the Go Fund Me page... every little bit makes a difference and means so much! Rockaholics Helping Rockaholics is what KISW is all about :) We can't wait to see Ryan back on stage with Saint Helen ASAP!!

Happy Adventuring,

Taryn Daly
