There's something magical about Seattle. Sure, it's not for everyone, but for those who "get it", the Emerald City becomes your home and steals your heart, no matter where you move or where you travel.

Early on, Dave Grohl knew he belonged in our fair city, and he shared a heartfelt, personal tale of his journey to Seattle. First premiered at Sundance Film Festival this year, this story highlights the instant connection he felt to this part of the country and the forever friends he gained by choosing to make music here.

The film is a part of a series produced by Sundance TV called 'Dear Seattle', and you can watch it in its entirety at

KISW welcomes Foo Fighters back to Seattle on September 1st at Safeco Field, and there's no doubt that Dave Grohl will be sharing stories and love for the city with the fans who pack the place. You can get your tickets to the sure-to-be-legendary concert via
